Dindi is a village in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. The hamlet is along the banks of Godavari river and the place if filled with coconut trees. The geographical location looks similar to Kerala. The Godavari River joins the Bay of Bengal and there are quite a few backwaters of Bay Of Bengal.
There are rather a few resorts in and around Dindi, the primary ones are Andhra Pradesh tourism resort and the other one is Sterling Resorts owned by a private management.
I have stayed in Sterling resorts for a couple of days. The hotel is planned in such a manner that the balcony of every room has a facing of water, either the river or the lotus pond created in between the square shape construction. The ambience and the service are up to the mark.
The hotel has 2 lotus pools covered with beautiful lotus leaves and lotus blossoms which is oftentimes difficult to see now a days.
There are indoor as well as outdoor games arranged for children, youth and the aged. Thither is a swimming pool at the remainder of the property and is close to the bank of the river.
I recommend going to Dindi once the rains start so that the temperate will come down and you can savor the complete greenery.
